Township Clerk

Michigan State Law designates the duties of a Township Clerk although Township Boards may require additional responsibilities or delegate certain duties. Some of the duties of the Comstock Township Clerk are:

• Election management and voter registration
• Cemetery management and record keeping
• Maintaining and organizing Township records
• Payroll administration
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Cable television administration duties
• Comstock Community Center Treasurer and Recording Secretary
• Township insurance coordinator
• Writing the minutes for all Township Board meetings
