Welcome to Robert Morris Park!

This park is open to Comstock Township residents and non-residents.

Admission fees are charged accordingly all year and are posted at the park entrance. A valid permit is required for park use. 

Annual permits can be purchased at the park or the Comstock Township Parks Department located at 6138 Kings Hwy, Kalamazoo, MI 49048.

Day Pass Rate: $5.00 per vehicle

Comstock Resident Annual Pass: $20.00

Non-Resident Annual Pass: $35.00

Senior Comstock Resident Annual Pass: $10.00

Senior Non-Resident Annual Pass: $20.00 


  

Robert Morris Park offers a ADA Accessible Restroom and Concession Building. This addition was made possible by a Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund Grant in 2013

 

This beautiful park is a great place to have a picnic. 

 

Park Facts 

·        The park opened May 30, 1968 as, "Campbell Lake Park."

·        The 40 acres of park property (including all buildings) were purchased from Ed Fry (Fry's Landing) for $75,000.

·        The park was renamed "Robert D. Morris Memorial Park" on May 24, 1975.

·        The Disc Golf Course was one of the sites for the World Disc Golf Championship in 2008.

         In 2013 the park received a grant from the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund for the demolition of an old building,         construction of a new ADA accessible restroom/concession stand and ADA accessible sidewalks throughout the park.

Park is open 9:00am-Sunset

All vehicles must have a valid vehicle permit 

Possession or use of alcoholic beverages or illegal substances are prohibited

Service dogs only 

Glass bottles or containers are prohibited

Personal grills or cooking units are not allowed, you must use grills provided by park

Pond area is protected - Keep out

Swim in designated swim area only

No boat launching or landing within the park

No defacing or destroying or property 

 No snow mobiles or all terrain vehicles permitted in park

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older

No lifeguard on duty - swim at your own risk

No floatation devices allowed. Except US Coast Guard Approved PFD Life Jackets

No smoking within the beach area 

No alcoholic beverages or illegal subastances

No glass bottles or containers

No boat launching or landing within the park
