Park Facts
- The park sight used to be the location of the Percival-Loveland Mill. (It was dismantled in 1910 and the wood was used to build area homes.)
- The park was officially named after the famous author, James Fenimore Cooper, (who was a relative of Horace Comstock) on June 14, 1964.
- There have been swans swimming on Cooper Pond since 1969.
