ADOPTION
An Ordinance to amend the Comstock Charter
Township Zoning Ordinance by the rezoning of certain
property located in Land Section 6 from the “B-1” Neighborhood Business District zoning classification to the “B-2” Community Business District zoning classification;
and to repeal all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith.

ORDAINS:
SECTION I
REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN LAND SECTION
6
The Zoning Map as incorporated by reference
in the Comstock Charter Township Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended so as to rezone the following described
property from the “B-1” Neighborhood Business District zoning
classification to the “B-2” Community Business
District zoning classification.
A parcel of land situated in the Southwest
quarter of Section 6, Town 2 South, Range 10 West, Comstock Township, Kalamazoo
County, Michigan being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 25,
“Jennings Plat” according to the Plat thereof as recorded in Liber 16 of Plats
on Page 31, Kalamazoo County Records; thence N. 00 deg. 10 min. 00 sec. W.
91.60 feet along an East line of said Plat; thence S. 89 deg. 40 min. 08 sec.
E. 113.90 feet; thence S. 00 deg 14 min. 53 sec. W. 26.50 feet to a point N. 32
deg. 24 min. 00 sec. W. 273.12 feet perpendicular with the center line of Gull
Road (Highway M-43) from said center line; thence S. 57 deg. 36 min. 00 sec.
W./ 120.20 feet parallel with said center line to a line extending N. 89 deg.
50 min. 00 sec. E. perpendicular with said East line from the Place of
Beginning; thence S. 89 deg. 50 min. 00 sec. W. 12.03 feet perpendicular with
said East line to the Place of Beginning containing 0.16 acres of land.

II
SEVERABILITY
Should any section, clause or provision of
this Ordinance be declared unconstitutional, illegal or of no force and effect
by a court of competent jurisdiction, then and in that event such portion
thereof shall not be deemed to affect the validity of any other part or portion
of this Ordinance.
SECTION
III
EFFECTIVE
DATE
This Ordinance shall take effect eight (8)
days following publication, after adoption.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance
are hereby repealed.
