Public Notice

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Planning Commission of the Charter Township of Comstock will conduct a public hearing upon an application(s) as more fully set forth herein on May 10, 2007 commencing at 7:30 p.m. at the Comstock Charter Township Hall, 6138 King Highway, within the Township, as required under the provisions of the Township Zoning Act and the Zoning Ordinance for the Township.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the item(s) to be considered at said public hearing include, in brief, the following:

1. The proposed amendment of Section 2.01.68 of the Comstock Charter Township Zoning Ordinance defining "open air business uses" so as to exclude certain temporary outdoor fund-raising activities from this definition and allow them as permitted accessory uses.

The Comstock Charter Township Planning Commission and Township Board reserve the right to make changes in the above mentioned proposed amendment(s) at or following the public hearing.

Anyone interested in reviewing the Zoning Ordinance pertinent to the foregoing may examine a copy of the same at the Comstock Charter Township Hall during regular business hours of regular business days hereafter until the time of said hearing and may further examine the same at said public hearing.

All interested persons are invited to be present at the aforesaid time and place.

Comstock Charter Township will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as interpreters for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed material being considered at the hearing, to individuals with disabilities at the hearing upon four (4) days' notice to the Comstock Charter Township Clerk. Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services should contact the Comstock Charter Township Clerk at the address or telephone number listed below.
